Public Works Roof Repair and Replacement City of McMinnville will receive bids for repair and replacement of the roof at Public Works, located at 1266 Belmont Dr., McMinnville, TN 37110. Contract will be awarded based on the lowest and/or best bid. The City of McMinnville reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. Evaluation criteria will include cost, contractor qualifications, relevant experience, references, warranty, and project schedule. Interested parties are requested to review the attached Scope of Work and submit their bid in strict accordance with the requirements outlined therein. Bidders must list their Tennessee contractor's license number on the outside of the sealed envelope, per TCA 62- 6-119. Removal and replacement of the membrane roof and deck insulation for the City of McMinnville Public Works building, 1266 Belmont Drive, McMinnville, TN 37110. The entire roof is the subject of this request for bids. These roof areas are to have the existing roof materials removed, the deck insulation removed, and any damaged decking replaced (if it exists). All flashing, curbs, gutters, drip edges or other items related to this roofing project are to be replaced with new materials of like kind. Work Includes: 1. Remove old roof down to metal decking. 2. Inspect decking for damage / corrosion. 3. Clean and prep surface for new roof. 4. Install 2-inch iso board compatible with existing roof specs. 5. Mechanically attach iso board to metal decking. 6. Install new 60 mil TPO roof system mechanically attached or fully adhered. 7. Robotically weld seams to maximum extent. 8. Flash all penetrations, AC units, pipe flanges, ventilation shafts, etc. 9. Secure membrane around perimeter. 10.Install new metal drip edge, 26 g or better. 11.Clean, prime and install new 6-inch cover tape around perimeter. 12.Remove and properly dispose of debris in compliance with local and state regulations.
