Preventative maintenance services are required for fire alarm systems at Red Lake Hospital and Ponemah Clinic. The contractor shall perform annual inspections, testing, and maintenance of approximately 600 fire alarm devices, including control panels, notification devices, remote annunciators, door-releasing devices, heat detectors, fire alarm boxes, smoke detectors, duct smoke detectors, and smoke detection shutdown devices. All work must comply with NFPA 101 and NFPA 72 standards and manufacturer recommendations. Services include labor, tools, equipment, cleaning materials, and documentation of test results. Work is to be conducted Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Contractors must provide qualified personnel with NFPA 72-compliant training, maintain calibrated testing equipment, and carry liability insurance of at least one million dollars. A warranty of 365 days is required for all services and parts. Invoices must be submitted electronically via the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP), and improperly prepared invoices may delay payment. The contract includes a base year and four option years.
