Langlade County is issuing this request for bids for the replacement of a pedestrian bridge located at Gartzke Recreation Area in the Town of Polar, Langlade County. The project location is depicted in the attached map. Work will include removal and disposal of the existing bridge and furnishing and installing new pilings, abutments and a recreational bridge. Bids, complete with cost quotes, are requested from interested firms. Project Located at the Gartzke Recreation Area, W3979 5th Ave. Rd., Polar, Wisconsin. Project Work Shall Include: A. Provision of Engineer Approved and Stamped Plans for Bridge, Pilings (Helical Required) and Abutments. B. Fabrication and Furnishing of Replacement Bridge to Design Specifications C. Removal and Disposal of the Existing Bridge D. Furnishing and Installing Pilings to and Abutments to Design Specifications E. Installation of the Replacement Bridge to Design Specifications F. Furnishing and Installation of Weight Limit Signs Based Upon Design Specifications All Work Must Comply With Dnr Work and Permit Requirements for Crossing of a Designated Trout Stream and Work Within Wetlands.
