Site work for a civil project in Glendale, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Major components of the Work include: 1. Selective demolition of the following a. Mechanical rapid mixer and drive in its entirety. b. Existing horizontal flocculators and drives in their entirety. c. Existing chain and flight sludge scraper and cross collector and drive in their entirety. 2. Installation of new a. Horizontal flocculators and drives b. Chain and flight sludge cross collector c. Water supply and fire hose connections 3. Reconfiguration of raw water piping to consist of pipe reducers, magnetic flow meter, static mixer with chemical injection ports, and relocation of coagulant feed point. 4. Injection of hydrophilic waterstop chemical grout in multiple locations and subsequent leak testing (unit price). 5. Reconstruction of access hatches (multiple locations) 6. Replacement of sump pump 7. Miscellaneous electrical work 8. Site restoration Project Location: 400 W Bender Rd Glendale, WI 53217 The Work will be substantially completed on or before September 18, 2026, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before October 16, 2026. Bid security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The North Shore Water Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.
