Renovation of a fire / police facility in Glendale, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Camosy Construction, on behalf of the City of Glendale, is receiving bids for renovations and improvements to the Glendale Police Department for bid packages 2.74 through 16.00. Bids must be signed and submitted electronically using the Bid Form provided. All addendums and clarifications must be acknowledged. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required for fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical contractors. Bids must be delivered on time; late bids will not be accepted. Bid documents, including plans and specifications, are available at no cost electronically, but printing costs are the responsibility of the contractor. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check for at least 10% of the total base bid is required. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for the total contract amount and enter a legal contract with the Owner. Bids must remain firm for 60 days after opening. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates, and compliance certifications are required regarding bid-rigging, bid rotation, equal opportunity employment, and sexual harassment. No bids may be withdrawn without written consent from the Owner. The Owner may reject any bids or waive formalities if deemed in the public interest. Minority and Women-Owned Businesses (M/WBE) are encouraged to bid and participate as subcontractors. Camosy is signatory to Demo, Laborers, Concrete, and Carpentry Unions.
