Renovation of a water / sewer project in Glendale, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 23,699-square-foot water / sewer project.
The project involves the replacement of the roof at the Water Filtration Plant, 400 West Bender Rd, Glendale, WI 53217. Work includes replacing approximately 17,000 square feet of existing EPDM roofing with a new hot applied, asphalt built-up roofing system, and 6,700 square feet of asphalt roofing with adhered PVC roofing systems. Bids must be submitted using the forms provided in the bid documents, received in sealed envelopes with a 5% bid bond. A mandatory pre-bid conference must be attended for bid consideration. Bidders must have a current Bidders Proof of Responsibility form on file at least 5 days before the bid due date. Specifications and bidding documents are available after attending the mandatory pre-bid conference. The successful bidder must ensure non-discriminatory employment practices. Proposals must remain in effect for at least 45 days beyond the proposal submission deadline. The commission reserves the right to reject proposals, cancel the solicitation, waive informality, and award the contract deemed in its best interest.
