Blum Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk by NC State University and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for Phase 4A(Scaffolding) of the University Towers Residence Hall project in Raleigh, NC. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Phase 4A of the University Towers Residence Hall project will consist of providing design assist services to erect a scaffold system around the entirety of the building to enable structural repair work as required in Phase 4B. Phase 4A is anticipated to require 3 summers of work - May-August 2026, 2027, and2028. Principal trade contractors are solicited for the following bid package:BP1480 Scaffolding | $2,500,000 Additional packages may be added and deleted by the Owner and Construction Manager. Blum Construction has along-standing commitment to maximize minority and other HUB participation on all our projects, and we recognize the importance NC State University and the State of NC places on minority and HUB participation. There is an established 10% MWBE participation goal on this phase of the project. Historically underutilized and minority business participation is strongly encouraged.
