The City of Gallatin Fire Department is seeking bids for the purchase of one (1) Breathing Air Compressor and Fill Station. Question Submissions Gallatin Fire Department Attn: Scott Woodward 119 GFD Memorial Blvd., Gallatin, TN 37066 Telephone: 615-452-2771 Email: scott.woodward@gallatintn.gov Breathing Air Compressor and Fill Station Minimum Specifications o 4 stage/15 HP/23 CFM o Three phase, 230 V/60 HZ o 6,000 PSI o Oil pump o Additional intercoolers as needed o Auto and Emergency Stop Features o Auto-condensate drain o Dual filtration/purification system that produce Grade E Breathing Air. o CO monitoring capable of reading at least 5 parts per million. o Fill Station/Enclosure with two (2) SCBA cylinder fill positions. o Enclosure must be explosion proof o Enclosure must be humidity and rust resistant o Must have isolation valves that allow one or both cylinders to be filled simultaneously o Enclosure must provide a door-locking safety mechanism o Air Compressor/Fill Station Enclosure must limit ambient sound at less than 70db. o All applicable electronics are to be UL 508A compliant o Components and equipment must meet all applicable NFPA requirements o Ability to provide timely service o Minimum $5000.00 trade-in allowance for current compressor and fill station. o Must be configured to prevent accidental or purposeful overfilling of air cylinders. o New Air Compressor and Fill Station shall be properly connected to the existing cascade system. The City of Gallatin reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality found therein. The City of Gallatin will award a bid based on evaluations described above.
