The project includes elevator modernization and refurbishments to all six (6) elevatorsfor the main hospital building including all related work including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, fire alarm and fire sprinkler. The work will be phased so only one elevator is out of service at any point in time. All Deferred Approvals, including engineering / design and submission to HCAi, for items such as Elevators (if required), Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinklers will be required under this contract.Maintenance of all six elevators during construction is also part of this contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price and a Faithful Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, said bonds to be secured from an admitted surety insurer authorized by the Insurance Commissioner to transact business of insurance in the State of California. Each bond shall be issued on the form set forth in the specifications.
