CEC Government Fleet EVSE Projects . The County of Contra Costa ("County"), through its Capital Projects Management Division of the Public Works Department, hereby gives notice it is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to deliver design-build services for the County's fleet Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) network projects and that the County has determined that all Design-Build Entities ("Design-Builder") must be prequalified. The County is implementing a CEC-funded program to install approximately 158 Level 2 chargers and 20 DC fast chargers across fourteen (14) County-owned or leased sites to support County fleet operations (and, at select locations, additional user groups as defined in the RFQ). The selected Design-Builder will perform design, permitting, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout in coordination with utilities and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), consistent with all applicable codes and the County's requirements.
