A description of the Work of this project can be summarized to include: The work of this project will remodel the restrooms on the basement level to the fourth floor of the PTC Building in Boise. The plumbing is not accessible, and the drains are beginning to fail. This project will upgrade the finishes, fixtures, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, flooring, wall tile, and partitions. This project includes a total of 10 restrooms, 5 men's and 5 women's. Add alternate: Remove the existing shower assembly, including the shower base/pan (if present), wall tile, existing backer/substrate, plumbing fixtures/trim, and associated components. Demolish finishes down to wall framing and subfloor as required to accommodate new rough plumbing, waterproofing, and new onepiece shower enclosure. Dispose of removed materials. Provide and install new aquatic model1483en, one piece shower module with smooth wall finish. Install new cement backer board at shower walls, with required treatment at seams and fasteners, provide and install new wall tile around the shower enclosure, including setting materials, grout, movement joints, and edge trim where required. Seal tile and grout where applicable. Provide and install new plumbing component, proflo caulkless brass drain #pf101pnc with chrome screen, proflo pf7610s 1 handle pressure balancing shower only, with chrome finish. Coordinate rough-in locations for the shower head and controls as required and test the new work for leaks prior to concealment. Provide new wall hooks, shower door, shower controls and curtain rod and curtain. Note: New ceramic floor tile is not included in this Add Alternate and shall be provided under the Base Bid. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required.
