Remodeling of a military facility in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
The contractor shall remodel duty room bathrooms and locker rooms at US Coast Guard Station Los Angeles / Long Beach in San Pedro, CA. The scope includes replacing all fixtures in five bathrooms, removing existing tile and flooring in preparation for future installation, and renovating two locker rooms by removing the clothes drying area and installing new large built-in lockers. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work. Coordination with the Technical Point of Contact is required for selecting colors of fixtures and finishes. Additional tasks include inspecting underground sewage lines using CCTV cameras, repairing any identified issues, and disposing of all debris and materials in accordance with environmental regulations. Daily cleanup and restoration of construction areas to their original condition are mandatory. Work must be performed between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise authorized. Routine quality and safety checks are required throughout the project. As required by FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The intent of this Statement of Work (SOW) is for the contractor to perform remodeling work on duty room bathrooms and locker rooms at USCG Station LA/LB in San Pedro, CA. This includes the removal and replacement of all fixtures in five bathrooms, removal of all tile and flooring in preparation for future flooring installation, and the remodeling of two locker rooms with the removal of the clothes drying area and installation of new large built-in lockers. The contractor will provide all labor, materials and equipment required to fulfill these requirements. The Technical Point of Contact (POC) will select the color for the newly installed fixtures and finishes. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
