The Work consists of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, utilities, temporary facilities, transportation, goods, and other services and things of any nature whatsoever as are expressly and impliedly necessary to timely and satisfactorily complete the Project in strict accordance with the LLB Agreements, the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Architect and, to the extent applicable, approved by the DSA pursuant to application number Enter "A" number, and all other Contract Documents for the Project, including any Contract Documents providing for changes to the initial scope of the Work. Construction of the Planned Modernization of Hughson High School The Hughson Unified School District ("District") is seeking proposals, from qualified and experienced general (B licensed) contractors, for construction of the planned modernization of Hughson High School ("Project"). The District is located in Stanislaus County, California, and Hughson High School is located at 7419 E. Whitmore Avenue in the City of Hughson ("Project Site"). The District intends to complete the Project using the lease-leaseback construction delivery method authorized by Education Code Section 17406. Additional information regarding the Project is set forth in RFQ/RFP No. 2434 ("RFP"), which can be downloaded from the District's website at Online . The RFP sets forth the criteria that the District will use to determine which contractor will constitute the best value to the District. Interested contractors must register with the District, as described in the RFP, in order to attend the mandatory conference and site visit, obtain the required forms of agreements, ask questions regarding the RFP or the Project, receive any subsequently issued addenda to the RFP, and to submit a proposal. The RFP includes contact information for the District representative who is authorized to respond to written questions about the RFP and the Project. The deadline for submitting questions is 12:00 p.m. (noon) on September 22, 2025. The District reserves the rights to (i) waive minor irregularities in the procurement process or any proposal and/or (ii) reject any or all proposals. If the initially selected contractor does not timely execute and deliver the required agreement forms, the District, in its sole discretion, may negotiate with contractors having the next highest best value rankings, in the order determined by the District in accordance with the RFP.
