The contractor shall replace the existing office flooring at the US Coast Guard Los Angeles / Long Beach Aid-To-Navigation Team. The scope includes removal and disposal of current flooring, surface preparation, and installation of approximately 800 square feet of new luxury vinyl plank (LVP) commercial-grade, waterproof flooring, and approximately 600 square feet of epoxy flooring. All labor, materials, equipment, services, and supervision must be provided to ensure the epoxy floor meets required standards. Final flooring colors will be selected by the designated technical Point of Contact. Work must be performed between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise authorized. The contractor is responsible for daily cleanup and final restoration of the worksite, including proper disposal of all waste materials. The government will furnish electricity, parking, and laydown area, but bathroom facilities will not be available to contractor personnel. Tasks include mobilization, removal of existing flooring, substrate preparation, installation of vinyl and epoxy flooring systems (including priming, base coat, mid coat, and topcoat), trim and finish work, curing and protection, waste disposal, demobilization, and coordination for final color selection. Completion of work will be monitored and accepted by the designated Coast Guard technical POC.
