The City is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the purchase and delivery of one (1) precast concrete Hy Span bridge that is 42 feet 6-inch clear span by 4 feet clear height (44 feet 6 inch outside width by 5-foot 6 inch outside height). Bridge shall be intended for bicycle and pedestrian use. Installation will be the responsibility of the City of Fayetteville. The City shall not be responsible for lost or misdirected bids, or for failure of bidders' technical equipment. Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203 The City of Fayetteville encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, City of Fayetteville encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority and women business enterprises. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject bids, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed beyond ninety calendar days from the bid opening date.
