Sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete a project known as Village of West Farmington Septic Receiving Station Each Bidder is required to furnish with its submission of the fully completed Bid Documents, a Bid Security in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form (Bid Guarantee and Contract and Performance Bond as provided in Section 153.57.1 of the Ohio Revised Code), must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Bidding Documents and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The OWNER intends that this Project be completed no later than the time period as set forth in Article 4 of the Standard Form of Agreement Between OWNER and CONTRACTOR on the Basis of a Stipulated Price. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age. The Village of West Farmington reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities. The Village of West Farmington reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or times and/or award the bid to the lowest and best bidder. To be eligible to bid, one must obtain the documents from Arcadis. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Questionsreceived lessthan ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
