The City of Toledo DPU/ Environmental Services is advertising for the work for which proposals are invited consists of, but is not limited to, site clearing and grubbing, earthwork, stream restoration with grade controls and bank stabilization, landscaping and site restoration. Bid Guaranty requirements are located on the "Bid Information" tab Bid Detail section. The bid guaranty shall be in the form of a cashier's check/official check on a solvent bank or a bid bond. If using a check as the bid guaranty, the check must be received by the Division of Purchases and Supplies no later than the due date and time to be deemed responsive. The check must also be scanned and uploaded with the e-bid. Company checks and personal checks will NOT be accepted. Checks shall be made payable to "City of Toledo." The City of Toledo encourages all bidders to achieve a 15% MBE/WBE participation on all construction contracts. Project Duration until December 31, 2026 Bid Guaranty (bid bond or certified check/cashier's check on a solvent bank) - see instructions below This is a prevailing wage project. The latest prevailing wage rates at the time this bid was posted are available on the "Documents" tab of this bid in . The successful bidder shall submit certified payrolls to the City for all labor performed on the project on a bi-weekly basis or such other basis as determined by the Division of Contract Compliance. The current schedule assumes that work will commence after October 1, 2025, and restoration plantings will be conducted as soon as appropriate based on species, site conditions, and permit requirements, but no later than Summer 2026. Any additional plantings, postconstruction maintenance/monitoring work, and potentially small follow-up projects might be needed in summer/fall of 2026. The awarded bidder will adhere to the Period of Establishment as posted in the Plans and Technical Specifications posted with this RFQ. Question Deadline 10/02/2025 at 4:00 PM ET All questions regarding the plans and specifications must be in writing and submitted through Online. Other required forms include those noted in the Response Type Section and also noted in the Other Details Section: Signed Contract by Vendor CEO/President; Child Support Affidavit; GLC Insurance Certificate; and Current Worker's Compensation Certificate. Prevailing Wages are required for this project. It is the obligation of a contractor or subcontractor to make payment in accordance with the prevailing wage determinations.
