Renovation of an educational facility in Fitzgerald, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 20,043-square-foot educational facility.

The project consists of the replacement of the flooring at the Ben Hill Primary School. The work includes the removal of existing flooring and base and the installation of new vinyl composition tile, luxury vinyl tile and epoxy resinous flooring and the replacement of glass in the existing windows in the Student Dinning Room. Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump-sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after time and date of opening. Each bid must be accompanied with a BID BOND (Bond only; certified checks or other forms are not acceptable) in an amount equal to 5% of the base bid, payable to the OWNER and issued by a Surety authorized to do business in the State of Georgia, in order to guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract to construct the project strictly within the terms and conditions stated in this bid and in the bidding and Contract Documents, should the construction contract be awarded to him. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a bond for the faithful performance on the contract and a bond to secure payment of all claims for materials furnished and/or labor performed in performance of the project, both in amounts equal to 100% of the Contract Price. Both bonds shall be issued by a Corporate Surety authorized to do business with the State of Georgia. All bids submitted shall remain open for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
