Reference Number 0000302199 The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Public Service Delivery, Asset Management, seeks to select a qualified Contractor to provide mechanical services (including all labour, materials, supplies and equipment) for the replacement of one boiler and the replacement of a heat exchanger on a second boiler, both located in the Selkirk Provincial Office Building, 446 Main Street in Selkirk, Manitoba. The work involves the complete replacement of Condensing Boiler #1 and the replacement of the Heat Exchanger (Hx) for condensing boiler #2. The work involves the complete replacement of Condensing Boiler #1 and the replacement of the Heat Exchanger (Hx) for condensing boiler #2 located in the Selkirk Provincial Office Building in Selkirk, Manitoba. The facility is in daily use and the contractor shall be required to co-ordinate his work while allowing for ongoing facility routine. Client has advised that work may be carried out during regular office hours. 2 The contractor(s) shall provide all labour, materials, supervision, superintendence and associated services whether or not shown or specified in detail, for the completion of the project as described. The work shall include, but is not limited to the following: 1 Boiler #1: -1 Disconnection, removal and disposal of the existing AERCO Benchmark boiler, located in the lower level Mechanical room. 2 Preparation of the installation site to allow for the installation of the new boiler, including but not limited to: 1 ensuring required supply, return and feed lines, gas supply lines, electrical supply and control connections are suitable, functioning and in the correct locations. 2 Contractor is responsible for any alterations to the existing services that may be required to complete the project intent. 3 Supply and installation of a new AERCO Benchmark BMK 1000 Condensing Boiler including but not limited to the following: 1 An AERCO model BMK 1000, natural gas fired, firetube, hot water boiler complete with AERCO standard operating and limit controls, on board BST sequencing, and TComp O2/air Temperature compensation fuel/air ratio control, as specified in Section 22 30 05 Domestic Water Heaters. 1 Boiler to operate with the existing flue gas venting system. 2 Boiler BST Sequencing EDGE controller to be compatible with existing header and O/A temperature sensors. 2 Work shall be carried out in accordance with National, Provincial and Municipal Codes and Regulations to the satisfaction of the Authority having Jurisdiction and the Owner's representative. 3 Provide a Manufacturer's factory trained, certified technician to: 1 Provide a "dry run" of the water heater control sequences.
