Site work for a service station / car wash facility in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for site work for a service station / car wash facility.
The scope of work includes bringing power to and installing 8 new, University-furnished EV chargers in the Transit Yard. The power will be drawn from an existing University manhole to feed a new, Contractor-furnished transformer and switchgear that will be provided as part of this project. A new enclosure will be built for the new electrical equipment. Saw cut and removal of the asphalt and concrete will be done to place underground conduits from the manhole to the enclosure, and from the enclosure throughout the Transit Yard, as required. As of September 9, 2025, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released.
