City’s Engineering Department invites Submissions for the pre-qualification of construction contractors to be registered on its pre-qualified list for construction services for Engineering Capital Works for the period of February 1, 2026 to January 31, 2029. The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to re-open the pre-qualification process at any time during the term to allow new contractors to provide a Submission for existing Areas of Specialization, for the City to open new Areas of Specialization not listed in this RFQ document, or for existing Contractors to apply for other areas of specialization not previously pre-qualified for. City projects requiring construction services typically range from $100,000 to over $40,000,000 in construction value. The City currently uses MMCD 2019 Edition Contract Documents and requires Contractors performing construction services to use this standard. The City may also use lump sum, CCDC, and City’s short form contract and other forms of alternative project deliveries as needed. Question Deadline 10/21/2025 at 12:00 PM PT
