Renovation of a municipal facility in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000) of the total bid, payable to the Owner, as guarantee if the contract is awarded to the Bidder they will enter into a contract with the Owner. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract award. Each Bidder shall submit with his proposal a completed Consent of Surety Form, stating that the Surety Company will provide him with the required payment and performance bonds. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, as set forth in the Contract Documents, the right being reserved by the Borough to reject all proposals or any proposal which may be informal or the acceptance of which for any other reasons would be detrimental to the best interests of the Borough, and to waive informalities. The Borough Council has the right to consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt. Question Deadline 09/18/2025 No oral interpretation of the meaning of the specifications will be made to any bidder. Every request for an interpretation shall be in writing, addressed to the Borough of Mountain Lakes representative stipulated in the bid. In order to be given consideration, written requests for interpretation must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids.
