Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and everything necessary for the construction of various drainage improvements on Briarcliff Road. This involves approximately 186 lineal feet of 12" HDPE storm drain piping, replacement of 8 inlets, and other miscellaneous related and appurtenant work. The contract must be completed within 21 calendar days, starting 20 calendar days from the date of the Notice of Award. Bids must be submitted on the provided forms in a sealed envelope with the required identifying information. Each bid must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond of ten percent (not to exceed $20,000) of the total bid. The successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract award, and a completed Consent of Surety Form. Bidders must comply with applicable labor, wage, safety, affirmative action, and registration requirements, and must complete and submit ownership disclosure, non-collusion affidavit, affirmative action assurance, and other required forms as set forth in the instructions. Contractors must adhere to all relevant federal and state regulations regarding wages, hours, and business registration. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, with the right reserved to reject any or all proposals or to waive informalities as deemed in the best interests of the owner.
