Reference Number 0000397938 Bids are requested for a one-year term contract with two, one-year renewal options for "as needed" electrical repair and replacement services on City of Grand Rapids primary and secondary utility lines, traffic signals, and associated equipment, as per the specifications contained herein. The City reserves the right to award contracts to multiple companies as it deems in its own best interests to do so. Purchase Type Duration: 1 year Option: two, one year renewal General Requirements - Insurance Required The City anticipates the majority of this work will be scheduled and non-emergency service requests during normal business hours. Examples of the electrical services needed for street lighting work would include, but not be limited to: general electrical line work, working in and around traffic right-of-way's and in streets, installing underground conduits and duct bank systems, installing manholes and hand holes, installing light pole bases, setting light poles, pulling inner-duct, pulling fiber optic cable, pulling wire, repairing or replacing street lighting fixtures, installing overhead conductors and troubleshooting street lighting primary and secondary circuits.
