Southern Nevada Water Authority invites qualified firms (Bidders) to submit Bids for the following Work, see Contract Documents for full details: The Site of the Work is located approximately 0.25 miles southeast of the Sunridge Heights Parkway The Work consist of the Contractor to provide construction labor services, project supervision, construction equipment, tools, and materials to replace interior joint seals, concrete crack repairs, concrete spall repairs, and Regulating tank cleaning, within the South Valley Regulating Tank As well as all other Work as indicated in the Contract Documents. Joint Replacements Remove and dispose of all existing floor and wall construction joint sealant material, clean, prepare, and prime concrete surfaces for new joint sealant, and install new joint sealant at construction joints in floor and walls, and any other interior sealant locations as shown in Drawings. Conditioning of work area may be required to maintain suitable moisture level, ambient air temperature, and concrete substrate temperature for application of products per manufacturer recommendations. 2. Concrete Crack Repairs Identify all cracks in floor and walls, clean, prepare, and prime for joint sealant, and install joint sealant at any cracks found. Joint sealant shall be applied to any crack with a width equal to or greater than 1/32. All cracks shall be repaired in accordance with Detail 13 on Drawing Number S-11. 3. Concrete Spall Repairs Identify, remove, and dispose of spalled or spalling concrete at floor, walls, ceiling and columns, clean, prepare, and prime concrete and exposed rebar surfaces for application of concrete repair product(s), and apply concrete repair product(s) for all concrete repair areas. Conditioning of work area may be required to maintain suitable moisture level, ambient air temperature, and concrete substrate temperature for application of products per manufacturer recommendations. 4. Regulating Tank Cleaning Remove and dispose of all debris from tank including but not limited to material generated during work, spalled concrete, degraded sealant and coatings materials, existing sediment, and cathodic protection anode material. Contractor shall complete the disinfection of all interior surfaces per requirements set forth in Specification 33 13 01 Reservoir Testing and Disinfection.
