Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of 12 inch water main replacement adjacent to 2850 SW Wanamaker Road, as shown on the included Exhibit. Since this section of water main is located at the back of curb on a very busy thoroughfare, project management is very critical. The intent of this project is to remove & replace approximately 160 Lineal Feet of 12 inch CI water main. Project will include the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk. Question Deadline 10/17/2025 at 3:30 AM CT CONSTRUCTION INPSECTION. City personnel will inspect all work. A Water Division construction inspector will be assigned to the project. Additionally, the Contractor shall contact Chris Willard, Public Works Inspection Manager, at 785-368-2418 for approval of any pavement subgrade and formwork 24 hours in advance of placing concrete, otherwise the concrete may be subject to removal. SC-17 PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING. A meeting prior to the beginning of construction is required.
