County responds to written questions: September 29, 2025 The purchase and installation of the generators is governed by the standards of the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, a federal grant program seeking to mitigate the damage resulting from severe storms and tornadoes in the state of Georgia. The County requests commercial generators manufactured by one of the following manufacturers: Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, or Generac. The address of each fire station is provided below. The contractors' bid shall include generators, shipping of the generators, transfer switches, and any additional materials needed to complete the electrical portion of the generator hookups.
