The Work Under This Project Shall Include, but Not Be Limited to All Labor, Materials, Equipment and Incidentals Necessary Complete the Work as Specified in the Approved Bid Documents. Bidders Are Re-quested to Quote Unit Prices for the Work as Se Out in the Bidding Documents. The Unit Prices Shall Be Full Compensation for All Work Required to Satisfactorily Complete the Items of Work Involved. Bidders Must Place Their Alabama State Contractors License Number on the Face of the Bid Envelope and on the Bid Documents. All Bidders Must Possess All Other Licenses and/or Permits Required by Applicable Law, Rule or Regulation for the Performance of the Work and Title 39-3-5,1975 (a) in the Letting of Public Contracts in Which Any State, County, or Municipal Funds Are Utilized, Except Those Contracts Funded in Whole or in Par With Funds Received From a Federal Agency, Preference Shall Be Given to Resident Contractors, and a Nonresident Bidder Domiciled in a State Having Laws Granting Preference to Local Contractors Shall Be Awarded Alabama Public Contracts Only on the Same Basis as the Nonresident Bidder's State Awards Contracts to Alabama Contractors Bidding Under Similar Circum-stances; and Resident Contractors in Alabama, as Defined in Section 39-2-12. Be They Corporate, Individuals, or Partnerships, Are to Be Granted Preference Over Nonresidents in Awarding of Contracts in the Same Manner and to the Same Extent as Provided by the Aws of the State of Domicile of the Nonresident. Each Bid Der Shall File With His Bid a Bond in the Amount of No Less Than 5% of the Bid Amount Up to a Maximum of $10,000.00, Payable to the City of Florence, Alabama. Each Bidder Must File Either a Cashier's Check Drawn on an Alabama Bank or a Bid Bond Executed by a Surety Company Duly Authorized and Qualified to Make Bonds in the State of Alabama.. For Contracts in Excess of $50,000.00, the Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish, at the Time of the Signing of the Contract, a Performance Bond in the Amount of 100% the Con-tract Price. Also, a Payment Bond Will Be Required in the Amount of 50% of the Con Tract Amount. The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Technicalities. No Bidder May Withdraw Their Bid Within Sixty (60) Days From the Date Set for Receiving of the Same.
