The work consists of constructing improvements for the West Lauderdale Water Authority and Fire Protection Authority - AMR Water Meter Replacement Project (Installation Only) & (Material Only). The principal items of work are divided between two contracts: Contract "A": 1. Furnish (Only) Approximately 6,200 AMR Meters 2. Furnish Approximately 1,100 Meter Boxes 3. Furnish Data Collection Unit with Start-Up and Support 4. Furnish Applicable Software 5. Furnish Ancillary System Support Contract "B": 1. Install (Only) Approximately 6,200 AMR Meters 2. Install Approximately 1,100 Meter Boxes 3. Install (Only) Backflow Valves 4. Install (Only) Curb Stops All labor, materials, and equipment required for the work must adhere to the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents provided, and all bidding must strictly comply with the stipulated timeline and requirements. Bidders are advised that time is of the essence for both contracts and liquidated damages will be assessed if contract times are exceeded. Extensions of time may only be granted in accordance with the contract provisions and must be approved prior to the contract completion date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informality, or accept any bid deemed advantageous. No Prebid Conference will be held.
