Sealed bids are requested for labor, transportation, and equipment for the Contractor Unit Bid-FY 2026. The project consists of unit pricing for replacing defective 46 KV transmission poles, defective distribution poles, and related work based on these unit prices, including conductor installation and/or replacement (overhead and underground). The budget is approximately $1,000,000 for labor and equipment only. All materials will be supplied by the owner. This contract is valid for one year, with the option to renew for two additional years. Proposals must include a bid bond or cashier's check of not less than five percent of the total bid price or $10,000, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within 14 days after notice of award. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract price and a payment bond equal to 50% of the contract price, from an approved surety company authorized in Alabama.
