The City of La Mirada is responsible for maintenance of elevators for various City facilities located within a 7.8 square mile area. These facilities include the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, the Resource Center, and the Activity Center. The City of La Mirada is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional elevator maintenance services for all City of La Mirada facility elevators. The term of an agreement following this bidding process shall be three (3) years, effective for the calendar years commencing November 2025 and terminating November 2028, unless sooner terminated as provided therein. The contract may be extended by the City for two (2) optional, one-year extensions. The City shall have the right to terminate any agreement awarded for any or no reason; provided, however, that the successful bidder shall be paid for all work performed to the date of termination. Proposals may be rejected if they show any alterations of form, additions not called for, conditional or alternative bids, incomplete bids, erasures or irregularities of any kind. License Requirements. The successful bidder must possess a C-11 State of California Contractor's License and otherwise be legally authorized to provide all services specified in this Request for Proposal. The successful bidder shall obtain a City of La Mirada Business License.
