Bids may be subject to rejection unless submitted on this form. Onslow County Schools reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to waive any informality in the process and, unless otherwise specified by the offeror, to accept any item in the quote. If either a unit price or extended price is obviously in error and the other is obviously correct, the incorrect price will be disregarded. Onslow County Schools (OCS) seeks proposals to replace the existing antiquated intercom system at Dixon High School as part of a multi-year plan to update all intercom systems across the district. Thus far, we have replaced 13 intercom systems with IP-based Bogen Nyquist systems and wish to standardize with those systems across the district. For this project, we are seeking pricing to replace the existing intercom system at Dixon High School with a 264- station Nyquist system. The intercom should consist of (11) Analog Station Bridges (ASBs), (1) System Controller, MMPA, I/O Controller, and (2) admin phones. The main system components will be installed in the school's main office area IDF. The ASBs will be installed throughout the school in other IDFs. Lightning protection is to be provided and installed on all wired ports in use on the system. There will be (89) new staff phone locations in addition to the (2) admin phones. There will be (67) wall-mounted staff phones and (24) desk staff phones. All phones will have a new Cat6 cable pulled back to the local IDF on existing patch panels. Proposals should include pricing for 189 new speakers (including wiring to the new locations) and installation. The speakers requested are as follows: 36 SPT15A Bogen Horn 152 CSD1x2 lay-in speakers 20 MB8TSQ metal box speakers 4 FMH15 Horn / Vandal Surface Box and Cover Vendor is to provide new Cat6 wiring in all locations except those specifically mentioned below. Pricing should include new Cat6 drops for all phone locations and should include new surface-mount raceway as needed in classrooms. Any existing raceway is to be removed by the vendor. (Any holes in the wall from the existing raceway will be repaired/painted by the owner.) Vendor should install one data drop per phone location along with any necessary patch panels, patch cords, face plates, and raceway as required. An additional REBOX will need to be installed in the Locker Room IDF, as the existing one is full. Vendor should provide raceway from the IDF to the lay-in ceiling space for the speakers. Four IDF locations will require additional wall cabinets for terminations. All other IDF locations can use the existing data racks and wall space. Wiring and Speaker Exceptions: The mobile classroom and Barn in the back of the school behind the welding shop will not be rewired and existing speakers will be reused in this location. A callback switch should be installed in the barn. Existing wiring from the head end will also be reused for this location. Pricing should include removal of the existing intercom wiring and speakers from the existing intercom system. OCS will ensure connectivity to our network and provide an open port and configuration at the MDF and in each Intermediate Data Facility (IDF) as needed. Proposals should include one year of software support as well as detailed information on terms and conditions of any warranty that is included.
