The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority requests proposals for completion of the plumbing of the bulk sodium permanganate tank at our Dixon Water Treatment Plant. Any questions regarding the RFP or proposed contract must be submitted in writing, at least five (5) business days before the submittal date for the proposal and directed to the ONWASA Purchasing Agent The Contractorshall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to plumb an 8,500- gallon chemical storage tank at the Dixon Water Treatment Plant. This tank will be utilized as a bulk storage tank that will include a transfer system piped to the existing 1,000-gallon day tank. The site is located at 6661 Wilmington Hwy, Holly Ridge, NC 28445. The successful proposer (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor") shall furnish all permits, materials, equipment and labor necessary to perform all tasks described in the Scope of Work, including: plumbing the bulk sodium permanganate tank with a fill line, recirculation line, dilution line, transfer line, providing and installing a transfer pump and recirculation pump, providing and installing level and concentration devices, and electrical work associated with the provided equipment. Work will be performed at ONWASA's Dixon Water Treatment Plant, 6661 Wilmington Hwy, Holly Ridge, NC 28445. Work on the project shall be completed and the tanks ready for service within 60 calendar days from receiving the notice to proceed. Contractors submitting a proposal are hereby notified that NC General Statutes relating to the licensing of contractors will be observed in receiving proposals and awarding of a contract.
