Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Weyers Cave, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work for the above items (slurry seal and remark auto parking lots and entrance road) Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 120 calendar days after the date of receiving bids. Physical bid submissions must be delivered to the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport Commission, Attention: Ms. Lisa Botkin, Executive Director at 77 Aviation Circle, Weyers Cave, Virginia 24486. On the lower left corner of the sealed bid envelope, include the project name (Slurry Seal and Remark Auto Parking Lots and Entrance Road), project number (if applicable), airport name, location of the airport, and name and business address of the bidder. The successful bidder shall commence work with adequate force and equipment on a date to be specified in a written order of the Owner and shall complete work within the time prescribed in the contract documents. The Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise.
