The purpose of this request for proposals is to hire a qualified contractor to provide tree planting services at various locations throughout the City. Services shall include planting of City approved species and sizes, including soil preparation, staking, mulching, watering and warranty care. All pricing shall be submitted in the bid form at the end of this document. Contractors Are Invited to Submit Written Formal Bids for the 2025 Tree Planting Services. The City of Ceres ("City") is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide professional tree planting services throughout designated public areas within the City limits. The purpose of this RFP is to establish a contract with a vendor capable of installing approved tree species in accordance with the City's specifications, standards, and schedule, and the contractual terms as stated in Bid documents attached hereto. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid most closely satisfies the needs of the City and is deemed the most advantageous to the City. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive any informalities or minor irregularities in a bid.
