The Forest Preserve District of Will County requests a quote from your company to complete the following public work project per the attached specifications. The successful contractor will be required to enter into a binding contract and to provide proof of adherence to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, which will include submission of a certified payroll. Please provide your quote total as a sum of the activities described within. Description: This work consists of the replacement of two windows, removal and replacement of trim, repainting/ re-staining of siding and trim piece at Tempest Farm Preserve. Existing windows, trim, and hardware to be disposed of by the contractor. The total cost for this work (materials, labor, and disposal) shall be bid as a lump sum for each as outlined on Page 1 of this Request for Quote. This quote entails work as follows; the repair of siding in all areas where it is pulling away from the building. Full replacement is not necessary unless the siding is rotten; otherwise, it can simply be re-affixed. The siding on the upper eave on the back of the garage may need to be replaced. The Removal and replacement of the (4) four 19.5" x 20.5" windows, window frames, and window trim. The Removal and replacement of exterior corner and exterior upper eave trim board up to 60 Ft of 3 1/2 " x 1" wood trim. The Re-staining of the red siding and trim to match the existing finish. Lastly, preparation and re-painting of the white trim and soffit. Contractors may access the site from dusk to dawn. Reference Exhibits A through E for exterior pictures of building. To access the interior of the facility, please coordinate with the project manager in advance. Work shall be completed within 90 days following the Notice To Proceed.
