The Project consists of upgrades to the existing Dardenne Lift Station including, but not limited to demolition of existing pumps, piping, electrical equipment, and CMU wall; installation of new submersible pumps, piping, bypass pump portal, valve vault grating, electrical equipment, generator, concrete pad and associated civil, sitework, structural, and electrical work The successful bidder will be required to agree that not less than the state prevailing rate of wages, or Davis Bacon federal prevailing wage rates, whichever is greater, shall be paid to all workmen, laborers, and mechanics performing their work under this contract. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. All bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the Engineer. Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each separate bid will be required to remain open for a period of up to ninety (90) days after bids are opened. The Owner reserves the right to reject all Bids; to reject any non-responsive Bid; to waive informalities in the Bids; and to determine the low, responsive, responsible Bid. The Owner reserves the right to award the project in a manner that is deemed by the Owner to be in the best interests of the Duckett Creek Sanitary District.
