Removal and disposal of trees, brush, excess sediment and concrete swales including grading and revegetation of all disturbed areas within the North Central Drive detention basin. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount equal to and not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid, payable without recourse to the City. The Security may be in the form of a certified cashier's check or a bidder's bond in the same amount from an Incorporated Surety licensed to do business in the State of Missouri as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond, a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond, and guaranty forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance of bid to him. Bid checks will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders if their bid is rejected. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the bid opening.
