Renovation of an educational facility in Baltimore, Maryland. Working plans call for the renovation of a 4,000-square-foot educational facility.

Work shall include, but is not limited to the following Packing, storing, and moving any existing equipment to allow for demolition and modification of any walls as necessary. Demolition of walls, floors, the existing clean room (MEB 127), any sealed ceilings, cabinetry, etc. New penetrations and abandoning existing penetrations as required. Construction of new finishes and MEP systems. Close coordination of the Fire Alarm tie-in will need to occur with MSU's DCM and Office Safety, Hazard and Environment (OSHE) Procurement of lab equipment, including hoods. Construction of Liquid Nitrogen Tank, which will be located near the North Chilled Plant footprint. Project Site: Mitchell Engineerings Clean Room will absorb and renovate Mitchell 125, 127, 142, 144, 146, the hallway and a few support spaces. Morgan State University is selecting a Construction Management at Risk ("CMAR") firm to provide professional Estimates and Constructability Review during the design phases while providing Management and Construction Services as well as Commissioning Activities during the renovation of Mitchell Engineering to build out a clean room of approximately 4,000 GSF.
