The Work to be constructed under this Contract generally includes, but is not limited to: Excavation and backfill of approximately 200 m of recreational trail to repair erosion damage. Supply and installation of a 150 mm perforated subdrain, with a designated outlet at the north end of the spit. Repair of erosion damage to the path area around the compass dial structure at the northern tip of the spit. Reinstatement and realignment of the trail to accommodate a vegetated buffer zone. Construction of a 1.0 m wide vegetated buffer zone between the path and concrete protection structure.
