Summary Taos County is seeking to purchase scoria cinder and salt mix for the Public Works Department for ice control during the winter months. Background The Contractor shall be responsible for the removal of all, and any spoil material generated by the job, as well as site cleanup. Any request by Taos County for spoil material shall be hauled by the contractor to the respective County Yards. Scoria cinder and salt mix must be at a 4:1 mix ratio. Taos County is seeking to obtain a minimum of 1,500 tons of scoria cinder/salt mix. *No Bid Bond is required for materials. All items on this bid will be awarded individually to the lowest bidder on each item. Taos County reserves the right to purchase the goods and/or services specified in this bid from the next lowest bidder and so on if it determines to be in the best interest of Taos County.
