General Requirements Provide all labor, materials, equipment, fees, disposal and OSHA air monitoring for the removal of vermiculite at thirty (30) minor work areas within perimeter induction units located at the Onondaga County Court House. The vermiculite is mostly contained in the base tray within the unit and is approximately 84" wide by 7" deep. Work is classified as a small project and requires a remote decontamination unit. The location of any site storage material, equipment and decontamination unit shall be coordinated with the Owners Representative. Contractor shall conduct operations in such a manner to protect or leave building finishes and elements not scheduled to be removed in original condition. Contractor shall clean any surfaces or equipment soiled by his operation and keep work area in a safe condition. All materials used for construction of temporary barriers and/or enclosures shall be fire resistant or acceptable to Onondaga County's Code Official. Operable window will be made available for negative air exhaust. Work planned to be conducted in multiple phases to minimize disruption of staff.
