Reference Number 0000302554 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/09/25 04:00:00 PM CDT Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request to seek the submission of competitive Proposals for the provision of engineering critical assessments, metallurgical analyses, and post failure analyses on samples of steel natural gas pipe and girth welds extracted from in-service pipelines. Manitoba Hydro intends to contract with one consultant for as-and-when-required testing and reports for a contract length of five (5) years. Manitoba Hydro requires engineering critical assessments, metallurgical analyses, and post-failure analyses to be performed on samples of steel natural gas pipe and girth welds extracted from in-service pipelines. The services include the following activities and deliverables (non-exhaustive): a) ITEM 1: Material Verification Testing. b) ITEM 2: Engineering Critical Assessment – Stressed based. c) ITEM 3: Engineering Critical Assessment – Strain based. d) ITEM 4: Defect Analysis. e) ITEM 5: Failure Analysis. f) ITEM 6: Radiography / Non-destructive Testing. g) ITEM 7: Fracture toughness characterization. Descriptions of ITEMS of the Work and detailed Purchaser’s Requirements are provided in the Schedule A – Description of the Services.
