Failure to provide requested information may be grounds for disqualification of the bid. Bid bonds are required. When required each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, or certified check made payable to the Owner, for an amount not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. This is to serve as guar an tee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond, execute the contract and proceed with the work. Performance and Payment bonds ARE required. 1. When required a 100% performance bond, and a Labor/Material payment bond are to be provided by the successful bidder, written by a surety approved by the Owner. When required, Owner will pay for the bonds. Prevail ing wages ARE required. When required, not less than the prevailing wage shall be paid for labor on the work to be done as required by law. No bid will be considered unless the bidder shall furnish evidence satisfactory to the Owner that he has the necessary facilities, abilities, experience and financial and physical resources avail able to fulfil the conditions of the Contract and execute the work, should the bidder be awarded the Contract.
