AHU-1 Replacement. TIMELINE: Request for Quotation for consulting services has closed and a preferred proponent has been chosen. The AHU-1 has experienced persistent issues related to pressurization and thermal comfort. Potential root causes include the unit capacity, ducting configuration, or other unknown variables. While some preliminary assessments have been performed, no definitive solution has been established to address these problems. The consultant will carry out all necessary testing, inspections, and evaluations - including the airflow, temperature, and pressure measurements to accurately diagnose the underlying causes of the performance issues. The findings will inform the development of a Business Case and support design recommendations, cost planning, and the preparation of a comprehensive tender package ready for contractor procurement. Further update once the project is approved to bid for construction.
