Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort Edward, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Separate Bids are requested for the following Contracts: General Work Plumbing Work Mechanical Work Electrical Work Roofing Work Site Work As bid security, each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond made payable to the Owner, in accordance with the amounts and terms described in the Instructions to Bidders. Doc note: Complete hard copy sets of Bidding Documents, drawings and specifications, may be obtained online . Checks shall be made payable to Fort Edward Union Free School District in the sum of $100.00 (One Hundred Dollars) for each set of documents. Mail checks to Syracuse Blue Print Co., Inc., 825 East Genesee Street, Syracuse, New York 13210. Plan deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Instructions to Bidders. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs (either by providing FedEX/UPS account number or being charged a flat rate by the printer). Please note online is the designated location and means for distributing and obtaining all bid package information, electronic or hard copy. Only those Contract Documents obtained in this manner will enable a prospective bidder to be identified as a registered plan holder. The Provider takes no responsibility for the completeness of Contract Documents obtained from other sources. Contract Documents obtained from other sources may not be accurate or may not contain addenda that may have been issued. All bid addenda will be transmitted to registered online , regardless of receiving electronic or hard copy Bid Documents, via email and will be available at online . Registered plan holders who have paid for hard copies of the bid documents will need to make the determination if hard copies of the addenda are required for their use, and coordinate directly with Syracuse Blue Print Company for hard copies of addenda to be issued. There will be no charge for registered online to obtain hard copies of the bid addenda. The Owner requires Bids comply with bidding requirements indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner may, at its discretion, waive informalities in Bids, but is not obligated to do so, nor does it represent that it will do so. The Owner also reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. The Owner will not waive informalities which would give one Bidder substantial advantage or benefit not enjoyed by all affected Bidders. Bids may not be withdrawn before 45 days following the Bid opening thereof, unless an error is claimed by the Bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The project value listed reflects the total project estimate. Question Deadline 10/07/2025 Submit requests for Bidding Document interpretation to the Architect, in writing using the provided Pre-Bid Request for Interpretation Form, at least five working days prior to the Bid opening. site visit -c. Special Instructions: Each attendee must show proper photo identification at check-in to be put into Owner's RAPTOR Visitor ID system prior to access of each building The Scope of Work related to the Electrical Contract (EC) includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Site a. Provide all electrical and communications pathways and associated wiring to and from the new building construction and renovations. 2. Demolition a. Provide demolition and salvage of all electrical items within and attached to the building as indicated on the Drawings. b. Provide disconnection of all line voltage feeds at mechanical equipment scheduled for removal at roofing replacements. Coordinate this work with the Mechanical Contractor (MC) and Roofing Contractor (RC). 3. Architectural a. Provide all fire-safing as it pertains to this Scope of Work. b. Coordinate the installation of all electrical equipment pads with the General Contractor (GC). Pads will be provided by the General Contractor (GC). c. Furnish all concrete or masonry embedded sleeves, link seals, etc. required to complete this Scope of Work. Installation is by the General Contractor (GC). If the items are not furnished in time for installation, the individual Prime Contractor will need to provide core drilling for the penetration at their expense. d. Any and all excavation needs within the building footprint shall be provided by the General Contract (GC) to support the installation of this Contract's scope of work, unless specifically stated as required to be provided by another Prime Contractor. e. Any and all excavation needs on the exterior of the building shall be provided by the Site Contractor (SC) to support the installation of this contract's scope of work, unless specifically stated as required to be provided by another Prime Contractor. f. Furnish and install non-penetrating rooftop pedestals and supports/assemblies for new and existing electrical installations as specified. Coordinate installations with the Roofing Contractor (RC). 4. Electrical a. Provide complete electrical system, raceways, wiring, devices, equipment, etc. b. Provide all line voltage connections to equipment installed by other Prime Contractors or by the Owner. c. Provide all temporary electrical and fire alarm connections to keep equipment and building systems operational during construction. d. Install all fire alarm equipment shown (Equipment shall be furnished by State Contract Vendor) e. Coordinate all line voltage reconnections to rooftop mechanical equipment being reinstalled at roofing replacements with the Mechanical Contractor (MC) and Roofing Contractor (RC). 5. Provide all final cleaning as it pertains to this scope of work and at the time of each phase of completion. 6. Electrical Raceway and Wiring Allowance a. Electrical Contractor (EC) to provide an additional one hundred (100) linear feet of specified raceway and wiring to be installed at any areas of needed relocation per the direction of the Construction Manager and/or Owner. Size and gauge of specified raceway and wiring to be same as shown on Project Drawings for that particular scope of work
