Loudon utilities is soliciting competitive quotes for the rehabilitation of a sewer pump station. The work generally includes the replacement of the control panel, pumps, pump base, vertical discharge piping within the wetwell, pump guide rails, transducer, floats, fall-through protective grating, and pump station bypass. The selected contractor shall be responsible for all controls programming, electrical, mechanical, and excavation work, as well as providing all materials and equipment necessary to complete the project. The contractor is also expected to provide bypass pumping and all ancillary work required for a complete and operational system. The project shall be bid as a lump sum project, encompassing all labor, materials, equipment, permits, testing, startup, and cleanup. No unit pricing or alternates will be considered unless explicitly requested. Scope of work 1. Demolition and removal: remove and dispose of existing pumps, control panel, piping, Guide rails, transducer, floats, grating, and associated components in accordance with local Regulations. 2. Installation: furnish and install new equipment as specified, ensuring compatibility with Existing infrastructure. 3. Bypass pumping: provide temporary bypass pumping to maintain uninterrupted sewer service during rehabilitation. 4. Programming and testing: program all controls, perform factory and field tests, and conduct startup with manufacturer representatives present. 5. Training: provide on-site training for loudon utilities staff on operation and maintenance. 6. Warranties: all equipment and workmanship shall be warranted for a minimum of one (1) Years from the date of substantial completion. 7. Compliance: all work shall comply with applicable codes, including neck, noema, ul, And local ordinances. The contractor shall coordinate with Loudon utilities for site access, shutdowns, and inspections. Work shall minimize disruptions to service.
