The Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma is requesting bids for the purpose of the construction of sanitary sewer system improvements at the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma McLoud Facility. Any proposal received after closing will not be allowed. The project consists of sanitary sewer system improvements, including the installation of new gravity sewer lines, force mains, three lift stations, emergency storage lagoons, and the closure of existing lagoon facilities. All work shall be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is located in Lincoln County, Oklahoma, near the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma Tribal Court, with work occurring on both the east and west sides of SH-102. Bids shall be made in accordance with this Invitation for Bids and the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any and all bids. Bid security in the form of a cashier's check, a certified check, or a Surety Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid shall accompany the sealed bid of each Bidder. Bid security shall be made payable to the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma, PO Box 70, McLoud, OK 74851 as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon, and furnish the required bonds and insurance. Bid security will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidder. A certified or cashier's check or Bidder's Surety Bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required from each bidder to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails, neglects, or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of the project, and furnish the necessary bonds within the fourteen (14) calendar days from and after the date the award is made. Each successful bidder shall supply a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond executed by a corporate surety licensed in the State of Oklahoma in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price as part of the contract. The Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of sixty (60) days after the bids are open.
