Scope Furnishing all necessary materials, machinery, equipment, superintendence, and performing all work required for furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and all incidentals required for the construction of the Phase 1B - W3.1 16 Inch Water Line (Union Pacific Railroad to East Side of U.S. Hwy. 377) project. The project consists of, but not limited to, approximately 1,200 linear feet of 16-inch C900, DR-18 PVC water line by open cut with embedment, approximately 285 linear feet of 16-inch C900, DR-18 PVC water line by dry bore with 30-inch steel encasement pipe (1/2-inch wall), approximately 100 linear feet of 12-inch C900, DR-18 PVC water line by open cut with embedment, approximately 115 linear feet of 12-inch C900, DR-18 PVC water line by dry bore with 24-inch steel encasement pipe (1/4-inch wall), as shown in the plans and called for in these specifications. The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price from a Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety. Should the total contract price be less than $25,000.00, no performance bond or payment bond will be required Bidders are required to submit a cashiers or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the City of Aubrey, or a Bid Bond (with proper Power of Attorney) from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, payable without recourse to the City of Aubrey, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total amount.
