Section includes the use of and/or the modifications of the following government specifications: a. City of Houston, Texas, Department of Public Works and Engineering. Standard of Construction Specifications for Wastewater Collection Systems, Water Lines, Storm Drainage, Street Paving, and Traffic as adopted by the City of Houston in 2019 and any current amendments thereto. b. Harris County Engineering Department Standard Engineering Design Specifications for Construction and Maintenance of Roads and Bridges, Revised 2017 and current revisions thereto. c. Harris County Flood Control District 2005 Standard Specifications for Construction Book and current revisions thereto. d. Texas Highway Department. Standard Specification for Construction and Maintenance of Highways, Streets and Bridges November 2014 or current revisions thereto. B. Where a portion of the reference specification is modified or deleted herein, the unaltered portions of the specification shall remain in effect. C. Whenever the term City Engineer, Design Consultant, Project Manager, County Engineer or similar terms are used therein, it is intended to refer to the ENGINEER as defined in the Contract Documents. D. Whenever the term City of Houston, City, County of Harris, Texas Highway Department, State of Texas, US Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration or similar terms are used therein, it is intended to refer to the OWNER as defined in the Contract Documents. E. Change all references to Section 01330-Submittals Procedures to Specification 01 330 Shop Drawings, Product Data and Samples. F. Change all references to Section 01454-Testing Laboratory Services to Specification 01 410 Testing Laboratory Services. G. Change all references to Section 015 Question Deadline 09/19/2025 Bidders desiring further information or further interpretation of any part of the Contract Documents are hereby obligated to submit a written request online to Engineer not less than seven (7) calendar days before the Bid opening.
